A 2500 router running an IP or above feature set image may restart if
the 'neighbor x.x.x.x default-originate' command is configured for an
established bgp peer.

Subject: BGP Default-originate
Does anyone know what might cause a router to reload when adding
neighbor
x.x.x.x default-originate to BGP?
Thanks
Jon
