I could not do justice to Alex Zinin's excellent explanation of the
structure of the RT and how it is maintained. His 'Cisco IP Routing,
Packet-forwarding and Intra-domain Routing Protocols' is one of the most
important books in my library.

I have not seen a better explanation of how a Cisco router actually makes
decisions.

Hi all,
just curious, but I think it is quite important.
When you have a complex topology, the routing table is quite big.
Does anyboy know how the routes in the routing table are displayed when you
do a sh ip route ?

Thanks in advance,
Luis Miguel.
