help the called router build the dynamic map. Try doing ppp authentication
chap on both routers and it should work. I have had the same problem and
authentication fixed it.

Hi,
I have a problem with my isdn routers nowadays. Problem is just like
that,
I wrote a static dialer map for calling to next site ;
interface BRI0/0
ip address 151.1.1.4 255.255.255.0
encapsulation ppp
dialer map ip 151.1.1.6 name R6 broadcast 3179071
dialer-group 1
isdn switch-type basic-net3
and it calls out , ok. I know that the called router must take the
dynamic dialer map from calling for sending the routes back,
but my nei router can't take the dynamic map back, my 2 links up but the
called router can't send any traffic back,
it gives an error "encap failed". I think because of the loss dynamic
map.
if I wrote a static map to the called router, for calling the first one

when I try to send packet from first router the called router also calls
the first one because of the interesting traffic back at the same time,
two routers connected with two channels,
everything is ok :)
any ideas what is the problem ?
