Obviously this is a horrible design, but for fun in a lab, how about a
tunnel? There are routing issues that will have to be dealt with, and might
be a show stopper but it is a possiblility.

Also, what if you change area 2 to NSSA, and make area 4 a different process
and redistribute.

Thats all I got...

A lab I need help with

I have an ospf area (4) that is disconnected from the backbone. where by
there is another area (2) in between area (4) and the backbone.
A virtual link would be a great idea, However, the transit area is a stub
area. --ie no virtual links allowed.

There is no other connection to the backbone...

Now what am going to doto get connectivity to the backbone.

Any help appreciated.
