Get another recruiter. When I first got out of college I went to a recruiter
to feel out the job opportunities. He basically told me I was less than
nothing and would have to pay my dues for years. I went out and got a job at
double what he said I should hope for.
Yes things are bad, but not as bad as this recruiter is.
