Hi,

In the example on page 763, after setting up everything on routers john,
mattew and mark, and get all correct ospf neighbor, database
information, router mark and mattew cannot ping each other. (They can
ping John)

The deb ip packet detail shows the following on john:
IP: s=172.16.1.1 (Serial0.1), d=172.16.1.6 (Serial0.1), len 100, rcvd
local pkt
    ICMP type=8, code=0
IP: s=172.16.1.1 (Serial0.1), d=172.16.1.6 (Serial0.1), len 100, rcvd
local pkt
    ICMP type=8, code=0

Does that mean that john thinks its a local packet and does not forward
to mark? Actually Mark never got any ICMP packets.

Thanks for your help.

Roger
