Hi,
If you're required to ping the ISDN interfaces, then you will need to use
the option with the IP addresses, otherwise the other option i suppose is
also ok.
Raj.

Subject: Two ways of ISDN dial-up
Hi, group
I always do the ISDN dial-up by two ways. One is take
a IP address on dialer interface and make the dial map to
have it dial up to remote office.
The second way is set ip unnumbered e0 on dialer interface
, and set the static routing for
ip route x.x.x.x m.m.m.m dialer0 per.
Both of them are working ,but I don't know which one is
better, which one has the advantage.
Thanks
Tom
