Hmmm, wouldn't bridging one vlan to another using any kind of link
effectively make it one big vlan thus negating the need for having two
vlans? Just a thought, although suggest your client read the great CCO doc
on the Cat 6509 architecture. He/she seems very confused.

Hi all,

Does anybody know a way to "trick" a 6500 into running Etherchannel from
one VLAN to another ON THE SAME BOX? Here's another twist to the
story... Is it possible to do this without using an RSM to route the
traffic?

I say that it's impossible, but I have a client who thinks otherwise.
