Look into using autoinstall:
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios122/122cgcr/
ffun_c/ffcprt1/fcf002.htm
Also if the router was booted up without a config in NVRAM it will be in
the setup menu and access via the aux port will be unavailable until the
setup menu is exited.
Good Luck,

Subject: console port
Hi all,
I need an urgent help. The console port of my 2500
series router is gone bad. There is no configuration
in it. I tried to use the Aux port to get into it, but
after getting the user mode it ask me to enter the
enable password. Is there any way I can get into to
the router through Aux port and configure it?
TIA
Asim Khan
