RE: redis ospf into bgp

Well assurances are great but when they are wrong they are wrong. This
redistribution is not working by magic. My route-maps only specify match
ip address to prevent route feedback and nothing else. Here is the
setup.

I have 5 routers with the R1-R5.

R3 is in the middle and only runs OSPF. R1 and R5 only run BGP. Loopback
from R5 in routing table of R1. Loopback R1 of is in routing table of
R5.

R1---bgp---R2---ospf---R3---ospf---R4--bgp---R5

I perform mutual redistribution at R2 and R3 with like commands as
specified previously. Loopbacks are reachable from R1 to R5.

So your telling me that it doesn't work? Explain to me how it doesn't
work again? I suggest you take another look at this in your lab. It
works in my lab without specifying match criteria internal external as I
said before.

Edward
What are you specifying under the route-map's
if you mentioned the route-map in your config's then
please include the route-maps also.

i can assure you, that if you don't specify the
"internal external" keyword either under the route-map
or directly in the redistribute statement
your ospf route's won't be redistributed ( this means
desired results)
