An easier way in these kind of scenarios where all the attributes are
identical, is to make sure the preferrable router has a lower BGP router-id.
Set this with the "bgp router-id" command and R1 will prefer R2 for all
routes where all other attributes are equal. You may need to create a
loopback just for this purpose and make sure your peer has a path to it ..ie
put in in your igp or a static route in the real world.
While origin manipulation will do it, higher on the selection criteria list,
but it pays to have more than one way of doing things with these crazy
scenarios they dream up in their torture chambers.
