Isn't there a hard-reset button on that router? I think if you press
that for more than 10 seconds, it should clear the RF config.

Subject: Getting rid of DOCSIS commands in a UBR924?
I just got a 924 to do voice in my lab. I had it doing dial-peers
within twenty minutes, and am very happy to have a used voice router for
$150 off ebay.
Here's my problem, every time I reboot, I get a bunch of left over
commands appended to my config from when it was used in a cable system.
No ip routing
Int e0
Bridge Group 59
Int c0
Bridge Group 59
Snmp server manger
Etc.
The bad news is that the above commands keep getting appended to my
running config when it reboots.
The good news is I can now save my configs, (had to delete the
private-config file) before it would take. That had me going for a
while. I would clean up the config, copy run start, and my saved config
would disappear on the next reboot.
The commands that are getting added are not in, my saved startup-config
file.
So, if there are any cable experts on the list, can you please tell me
how to stop it from adding these leftover commands from its previous
life?
Thanks in Advance,
Michael
