I researched this a few months back.

>From what I remember.

Two Wire T1 Wic's CANNOT be used back to back.

Four Wire 56K Wic's can easily be used back to back.

Half my lab has 56k Wic's. Works well.

Subject: T1 crossover from WIC to WIC

Quick Question:

Anyone have a config snippet of 2 routers connected WIC to WIC via T1
Crossover cable? I have been searching the archives for a link (no pun
intended..heheh..). Any information, links, posts would be greatly
appreciated:
