Hi,
OSPF cost is calculated based on 10^8 divided by the bandwidth (in bps). It
is inversely proporsional to the bandwidth of the interface.

Subject: Question about OSPF
Folks,
I have a question about OSPF . In one of the labs that
I
am doing he has asked the question configure the serial 0 interface of
router R2 such that the OSPF cost of the interface accurately
represents
the actual speed of teh line
and in teh solution he has give a bandwidth of 2000 and clockrate of
2000000. Can anyone help me understand this concept .Thanks
Jaspreet
