Some hotels have a shuttle service that "MAY" take you. However, this is a real
no no
lab day. YOU want to be in control that day. So no, rent a car. It is about 5 t
o 10
miles away from the nearest Interstate which is where most hotels are at.
I recomend the RTP Marriott on Miami Drive -- one exit before Davis drive which
you
take to get to Cisco RTP.
Good rates, good rooms, high speed internet access.
For rentals, the airport has all the top rental agencies at decent rates. Key i

book early. And definitely never try and go to RTP during graduation season (re
member
they have three top colleges there:-))
Someone I know recently stayed there for his Lab and he satayed at a hotel wher
e the
internet access was free!
