Scott,

I'm still working toward passing the lab, but for me
the difference between my first attempt and other
attempts has been tremendous.

I felt quite confident my first time around, but
missed a few things and realized afterward I didn't
understand some of the concepts as well as I thought.

My preparation is kind of hectic. I read through the
books, etc. After my first lab, I said forget the
books for awhile. I hit the equipment and CCO and used
every command in IOS I could involving routing,
switching, etc. Got to know IOS very well; much better
then I did my first time visiting bldg C.

I've been extremely close on my other 2 attempts.
Still wondering why I didn't make it on the last
attempt. Wish they let you talk with the proctor and
get some useful feedback like the old 2 day exam.
Remember that this is just a test. I'm still pursuing
it and will get it. Then I'm getting a second one. I'm
doing this to keep my skills fresh and current more
then anything.
