Hello all,
Quick question. When establishing BGP neighbour relationships and the
neighbors show active and one neighbour has the address 0.0.0.0 for the
remote router ID, what does this indicate?
I have manually set the bgp router-id to a loopback interface on the router
that can't apparently be seen. Can you not use the same router id for OSPF
and also BGP or any other process that requires a router id, or doesn't it
matter.
TIA
