Would not know if it is allowed to create another loopback just for router
id. But u can use the "router-id" command under the router ospf process and
freeze the router-id which will take care of the problem.

I always enter the router-id command as soon as i create the ospf process ?
even before i add the network statements this way it will freeze the id.

Anyway correct me or add on.
