Phil,
Excellent idea. Ill try it on Monday. That still leaves the problem of
removing HSRP from the interface, but that's not as much of an issue. Dave
wondered if I need an IOS upgrade; that might be the total solution,
although we upgraded not too long ago.
All the simple solutions work well on stand-along routers, but for the past
two years I've always run into problems with HSRP on MSFCs. Thanks for your
help.
