OT: Not all bad

In contrast to many of you, the new changes to the lab exam are not all bad.
It might be even better for lab takers. Most of the items that has been
removed are distraction items. And the expansion of QoS and security items
are hot items. Take for example the remove of IPX, although IPX was an easy
six points, an all IP exam is much easier to me and to many of you who never
touched a Novell server. An other example is IGRP. IGRP is not an easy
subject like many of you believe. The redistribution between IGRP and VLSM
routing protocol is a pain sometime. Please take a look at the groupstudy
archive to see the number of posting regarding this issue. Also the addition
of the 3550 catalyst switch suppose to be easier because you do not have to
study the Cisco IOS and Cat OS. That is, the router and the switch have the
same flavor CLI. According to Cisco, no new subjects or materials are added
to the exam. Therefore, for a person like me who registered for the exam in
December, I am expecting more QoS, VoIP and security questions. Please let
me know about what you think.
