Yakout,

If anyone is uncomfortable with knowing about these type of things.

DELETE THIS EMAIL NOW. It's all so scary and available on the net for
anyone to get a hold of. OK not so scary once you know about the
vulnerabilities and have taken steps to close the holes.

I have a MD5 reverse hash decryption program that works just fine. I
just downloaded another one a few minutes ago to check how long it would
take to find one on the internet. Took about 10 minutes total to find,
download, and decrypt my first MD5 password. I have a version that runs
on the PC and one that runs on a Palm Pilot. You can even do the
equation in your head and it works. The point is the MD5 hash on the
Cisco router is not secure if you can get to the hash. Physical access
will destroy any security given enough time.

Now to use the program all you have to do is copy and paste the MD5 hash
from the router into it. I also have a program that can crack the 48 bit
DES keys that Cisco PIXs use and a brute force program to crack telnet
passwords. I have a lot of other stuff in addition to these.

The point is if you have your head in the sand about security you will
get bit hard. So know your enemy before your enemy gets to know you and
network better than do. (:
