Hi Group,
I have a question. Supoose I have rtr A with 2 bri interface and rtr B with
1 Pri interface.
On rtrA we configured 2 dialer corresponding to another 2 dialer in rtrB.
dialer 0------------------------------| dialer0
rtr A <
> rtrB.
dialer 1------------------------------| dialer1
The problem is whenever I tried to use dialer 1 in RTR A to call dialer1 in
RTR B, it won't work.
the debug keep showing that rtrB would try to authenticate the ppp session
using dialer 0.
Dialer 1 in RTR A is using a alias name (dialer remote-name alias ) and
sending an alias as well (
ppp chap hostname fake_A).
debug ppp nego in RTRB shows that RTRB will respon with parameter in dialer
0 instead of parameter
in Dialer 1.
When I removed ppp authentication, the router connect, but dialer 1 is not
connected to dialer 0 of
router B.. so a ip address mismatch would occured.
Is there any way to force RTR B to answer the call using profile in dialer
1 ?
Donny
