I think that performing software upgrades on the 3550 is a little different
from a router. Below is the command shown in the release notes

Switch# archive download-sw /overwrite
tftp://172.20.129.10/c3550-i5q3l2-tar.121-9.EA1c.tar

It's probably better to use it's web interface.

I have tftp'd the image that i want to load, and i want to boot to it next

would i have to issue the boot flash command after i delete the old image i
