It was stated by Cisco on the netpro forum for the CCIE track under the Q
and A a few weeks ago.

    cisco.com/go/netpro

from there go to Cisco Certifications and look for the CCIE Program.

There was for the Cisco Reseller the 3550-24-EMI Not-For-Resell for $500 not
to long ago. For the reseller's check with your rep.
