The bridge group number on each router does not have to have any relation to
the Catalyst VLAN id number. I am even now working on a transparent
bridging lab in which my bridge group number on the routers is 1 while the
pertinent vlan on the Cat is vlan 13. On the Cat I have to say sh spantree
13 to see what is going on, while on the routers I say sh spannin 1. It is
all the same spanning tree, though. I believe that the bridge-group number
on each router is locally significant on each router, but I have not tested
it.

I am not sure whether the bridge-group numbers on the routers might somehow
become significant with DLSW, but I can be pretty certain that the Cat VLAN
id number will have no impact whatsoever on the DLSW bridge-g number.
