Of course not. In the dot.com boom, the *lack* of bodies meant that anyone wit
h CCxx got a job. But lately, we're back to the "experience is required" and c
ertification is just a bonus. Do *not* get caught up in "if you get ABC cert,
you'll make XYZ dollars!" craziness. If someone tells you such a lie, consid
er the source. It'll most likely be someone involved in training/certification
business. I suppose everyone has to make a buck, but not by pumping people fu
ll of false expectations.
