I have the same problem too.
Yesterday, I was trying upload a new IOS to one of the 2500 series router.
The router have 16mb RAM & 16mb Flash. I can't upload any IOS bigger than
12mb.
I just check the router. It seems like I have 1 single side flash simm and
1 double side flash simm on the router.
I also check with some 2600 & 3600 series router. All 2600 & 3600 series
router have double side flash simm installed.
If I knew this problem earlier, I would save some time and spare more time
to study.
Anyway, thanks for the info.
