Umit,

I just tried bridging on a trunk with ISL. As you said, I couldn't get
simple bridge to work easily and I don't have the time to spend playing with
it, but I easily did IRB as follows:

ROUTER1

int Fast 0/0
  no ip addr
  no shut
int Fast 0/0.1
  encap isl 1
  bridge-group 1
  no shut
int Fas 0/0.2
  encap isl 2
  bridge-group 1
  no shut
int Fas 0/0.4
  encap isl 4
  bridge-group 1
  no shut
int Fas 0/0.725
  encap isl 725
  bridge-group 1
  no shut
bridge 1 protocol ieee
bridging irb
int BVI1
  ip address 132.173.1.1 255.255.255.0

SWITCH
  vlan 1
  vlan 2
  vlan 4
  vlan 725
int Fas 0/1
  switchport mode trunk
  no shut
int Fas 0/2
  switchport access vlan 2
int Fas 0/3
  switchport access vlan 4
int Fas 0/4
  switchport access vlan 725
int VLAN1
  ip addr 132.173.1.2 255.255.255.0
ip route default 132.173.1.1

ROUTER3 (connected to switch port 0/2)
  int e 0
    ip addr 132.173.1.3 255.255.255.0
ROUTER4 (connected to switch port 0/3)
  int e 0
    ip addr 132.173.1.4 255.255.255.0
ROUTER5 (connected to switch port 0/4)
  int e 0
    ip addr 132.173.1.5 255.255.255.0

Everyone could ping everyone else. You can probably get it to work without
IRB if you have the time to play with it.

Regards,

Kym
