Yes..
distribute-list can be used to filter routing advertisement based on
access-list on interface or routes that is injected from different routing
protocol and static routes.

Hello guys can you help me to clarify the use of distribute list xx out
[routing protocol].
In Bridges, Routers and Switches (Caslow), it says that
"When applying a distribute-list out statement, you usually configure the
statement under a different routing process from the source of the routing
table information".
As for my understanding distribute-list is used under the same routing
protocol process.
Does Caslow indicates that I can use distribute-list out [routing protocol]
to filter unwanted distribution routes from other routing protocols (for
example distributing RIP to ospf)?
