Just a small comment. The CatOS isn't IOS at all.
It was an acquisition and therefore isn't tied to IOS
at all (like the 3550-24 and the 3550-12T). I guess
the lab will use the 3550-24? Is that the case?
Remember that when you're dealing with the Cat6K,
there's certain modules that only work with the CatOS
and others that only work with the native IOS
(switch-based IOS). Cisco's story is getting better
with this and it's not much of an issue if you're
running the hybrid CatOS/IOS switch (C6K/C7K).
