RTC RTE
RTA - RTB : OSPF Process 3, OSPF Area 3
RTB - RTC : OSPF Process 1, OSPF Area 1
RTB - RTD : OSPF Process 5, OSPF Area 0
RTD - RTE : OSPF Process 2, OSPF Area 2
RTB's interface: - 172.16.0.17 (connecting to RTD)
RTD's interface: - 172.16.0.18 (connecting back to RTB)
My question is this:
I have an OSPF neighbor relationship between RTB to all three RTA,
RTC, & RTD, and RTD also has an OSPF neighbor relationship with RTE.
But on RTE, I just can't see the interfaces between RTB & RTD
(172.16.0.17 & 172.16.0.18) via OSPF.

I thought by using "network 172.16.0.16 0.0.0.3 area 0" on both RTB &
RTD, it should include that in OSPF, and it would progagated the
subnet to other OSPF routers. I just couldn't understand.. am I
missing something simple here?
Also, when I checked the OSPF database on RTB & RTD, the 2 interfaces
are not even showing up under Router Link States (Area 0)...
