The out/in/either refers to the load on the line. You can monitor incoming,
outgoing or either.
dialer load-threshold 125 in - will bring up the second link when incoming
load reaches 50%
dialer load-threshold 125 out - will bring up the second link when outbound
load reaches 50%
dialer load-threshold 125 either - will bring up the second link either
incoming or outbound load reaches 50%

I think that if you do not specify in/out/either out is used.

What is the funtion of the out/in/either switch on the dialer load
threshold? Isn't "outbound" the only way a router can bring up abnohter
channel?
