You need to configure " no ipx default network" in the global mode
Hope this helps

Subject: IPX network #
Folks,
I am trying to configure the IPX network FFFFFFFE on my
interface and it says that the range of addresses that can be configured
is FFFFFFFD but the CCO says that you can give network nos. up to FFFFFFFE
When entering the IPX address syntax, use the following format:
IPX network address1..FFFFFFFE
IPX node addressx.x.x where x is 0..FFFF
IPX addressipx_net.ipx_node (for example 3.0034.1245.AB45 or
A43.0000.0000.0001)
What am I doing wrong here ?
Thanks
Jaspreet
