Maybe you can describe a bit more what you're trying to do.
I'm running ACS v2.6 and have a bunch of device groups. I have one
device group for the AAA servers and then others for routers, switches,
remote-access servers, etc.
On my system, on the Network Device Groups page it has a table with
three columns: Network Device Group, Network Access Servers, and AAA
Servers. Under "Network Device Group" are listed the various group
names (that we defined); under "Network Access Servers" is the number of
devices in that group (again, routers, switches, etc.); under the "AAA
Servers" is the number of AAA servers in that group.
Just to give you an idea of how I have things configured, I have 11
different groups; all of my AAA servers are in one group (by themselves)
and they service devices in the other groups. None of the other groups
have any AAA servers defined in them.
To state another way, you can have all devices in one big group or have
a bunch of smaller groups; the AAA servers don't have to be part of a
particular group in order to service devices in that group.
If this doesn't solve your problem, please post again with some more
specifics about your configuration.
HTH,
Ben
