R2(config-if)#dialer string 384020 ?
   class Map Class for the Dialer String
   modem-script Specify regular expression to select modem
dialing script
   system-script Specify regular expression to select system
dialing script
   <cr>

R2(config-if)#dialer string 384020 class
R2(config-if)#dialer string 384020 class ?
   WORD Class String

R2(config-if)#dialer string 384020 class

You have to define class accordingly....it works fine...
