irdp is iused to discover routing information.
the router need not be configured for irdp .The router needs to send routing
information.
the pc needs to be running IRDP in order to listen to the routes..
i think rip is the only protocol the pc will use to get irdp info...ospf,eigrp
will not work with irdp.
