Ok, you're right, it's not the "standard load-sharing" as we'll only have
one L3 interface, my reply wasn't exact enough. What we actually do is to
balance by packet and choose the interface (bri0:1, bri0:2) with the lowest
output queue when sending a packet. I wouldn't consider this a "protocol",
though..
Of course, this can lead to out-of-order delivery of packets, so PPP
multilink is the preferred way of bundling channels.

Hmm, where is the virtual access interface? What is your config?
With virtual-access interfaces, there is no timer running on the physical
interface, so timeout values don't show up with "show isdn"...
