I've worked with the 2948G-L3 switches. I didn't know about the range command.
It would have helped 6 months ago when entering bridge-group command for all 48
FastEth ports plus 2 GBIC interfaces.
Its basically a router with 48 Ethernet ports and 2 Gigabit (whatever flavor)
ports..
