Hi folks:
I heard a tape of Networkers2001 Qos powersession while riding with an
aquintence in his car, some time ago. One of the things the presneter
mentioned was that the access-lists on router can be compiled starting 12.0 or
something. This feature is called something, turbo acl or something like that.
He says it so quickly, I don't think I caught it even when I heard it.
Obviously the benifit is when you use this feature your acls are compiled into
a neat tree-like structure and it makes the processing of acls faster.
I looked up for this on CCO and all I can find is reference to a new feature
in PIX OS 6.2 for trubo acls.
Any thoughts? I would love to be enlightened. Thanks.
KD
