Watch the wrap. There's a few good papers here on how they name them.

Subject: IOS Naming conventions

Hello all,
Ive seen snippets of notes...but cannot find a guide to the assortment of
letters and explanations used to indicate which version of IOS a file
contains.
All this mz - dsv, WC5 stuff etc.
Does anyone know where I can get a list of letters plus explanations.
Any help appreciated.

Thanks
Spoon
