peers backup

Hi,group

A question about backup, I have two routers in HQ, r1 and
r2, one router in remote office,r3. R1 and r2 connecting
r3 . I don't know which protocol could make r1&r3 and
r2&r3 become backup peer, not load balance. Rip, eigrp,
bgp, ospf or static routing?
