Bitswapping

Ok, bridging isn't my favorate subject. I have simple questions that I hope
will help me in understanding some of the issues associated with bridging
between ethernet and tokenring; ie moving from TB to SRB domains.

If I configure SR/TLB so that hosts in SRB domain and TR domain can
communicate, do I some how need to manually configure mac address
bitswapping, so that the SRB domain can understand frame from the ethernet
network? Or will the SR/TLB router do this automatically? I have seen some
posts where they used the "bridge x bitswap-layer3-addresses" command for
SR/TLB.
Isn't this command used only when you are configuring SRB but at the same
time you want to communicate with TR domain?

Any good CCO reference will be highly appreciated. I can't seem to find any
good sources that specifically give an example and explain the use of
"bridge x bitswap-layer3-addresses" in SRB or SR/TLB.

Thanks, guys.
