I posted a request for help a few days ago and just wanted to post that
everything is OK now. I purchased mem and flash upgrades from
streamfish.com for a total of $60, boosted this box up to 16/4/4 and loaded
12.0.9a IP PLUS 56 (like streamfish told me to), and it works great.
I've got a new frame switch... :-)
