Manny, in iBGP you can do multihop by default, no need to be adjacent.
(In fact, you are required to peer ALL BGP routers in your AS, be it
full mesh or some of the get aways like RRs or confeds).
That's the way for borders to share their knowledge...
Also, what good would it make to redistribute BGP into IGP ?
(I don't even know if Chenyan is running an IGP)
You really need a way to get from R1 to R4 and back, and it should not
depend
on BGP or else you'll not be able to peer (or the peering could flap).
Either statics or IGP.
