Congratulations!
I agree, and really like Parkhurst's BGP book. I agree that it is better
than the old OSPF book. His old OSPF book has the same problem as Thomas'
old OSPF Design Solutions book. It's a book on OSPF, but the author feels
the need to explain the basics of networking to you for much of the book,
until he finally gets around to discussing OSPF in some detail.
Now Parkurst's BGP book is actually a lot of fun. Lots of detail and
scenarios explaining most BGP commands and their various options. Yes, I
know Halabi is the Bible of BGP (the big picture), but Parkurst on BGP is a
useful supplement on the detail, and crucial to have since the IOS 12.1 docs
coverage (config guide volume, not command reference) is a bit thin on BGP.
