Well,

from my point of view taking out IGRP must make the exam easier. This little n
asty crappy protocol was the bain of my life in both labs. Also without the to
ken ring switching being in there makes it a little easier. So now what are th
ey doing, duh making the switching a little bit more like real
life, so if you atcually work in this environment then it will be simple.

Brit Humour - maybe?

Subject: CCIE LAB EXAM CHANGES.....

OK Guys get ready... It is going to get a little more
complex. When something is taken away usually something
harder takes is place.... :(

CCIE candidates should note changes to the technical content
and equipment in
the lab exam. Effective October 1st, 2002, candidates will
no longer be
tested in
the areas of IGRP, Token Ring, Token Ring Switching, or IPX.
Note: DLSW+
will remain as a protocol that can be tested in the lab. The
Catalyst 5500
switch
will be replaced with the Catalyst 3550.
