Im sure this has been addressed before, however the searching feature on the
web site is not working.
Lets say we have a frame network with the following conditions:
Carrier will drop all packets over 128k
Carrier will mark all packets over 96k as discard eligible
You want to drop the send rate to 32k if you recieve a becn
Here is what I have:
bc = 12000
be = 4000
mincir = 32000
cir = ??
My question, is this correct and what is the cir? At first thought I thought
the cir would be 128000, however this is exactly what bc+be is, is this
correct? If so, why even enter this command, it seems the router could add
these two together to get the cir.
Thanks
Lance
