I failed on my first attempt in RTP on Monday. I actually felt comfortable
with the material on the exam. It was all stuff I had prepared for. I
finished with about 45 minutes to go so I went back and reviewed the exam
from the beginning. I found a few things that I did not do that was
requested so I did them quickly, but I did not get to check everything. When
the exam was over I felt confident that I might have passed, but then as I
waited for the results I began to realize that I made some mistakes and
forgot to address some of the issues with certain scenarios. I still thought
I had a shot depending on how it was graded. Well, anyway I failed. It was
disappointing because I know I could have passed that exam if I was more
diligent and maybe if I had finished with enough time to review all my work.
I rescheduled my second attempt in RTP for December 11. I am going to hit
the books and the rack again. I need to improve on all of that is outside of
the core areas.
