The archives search seems to be down, otherwise I wouldn't bother the group
with this sort of question. Nevertheless...
I am trying to equip my home lab and I need a Cat 5k. I see Cisco 1200 series
switches on the ebay for real cheap (like around 200-300) and want to hear
what do you have to say. According to CCO this is end of life product. Does
this run same os as Cat 5k? Some of these are being advertised as layer 3 and
multileyer, is that true? Please comment on what you know about this.
Ultimately, what matters is how good a substitue is this for Cat 5K for CCIE
home lab?
