Does anyone have any good links or configuration examples for multicast
configurations with different PIM modes. I'm having a heck of a time
getting sparse-mode to see my auto-rp announcer. My announcer is set for
discover and announce so it becomes the rp. I then run sparse-dense to a
couple of routers and then sparse to a couple other routers further down
the chain. I am under the impression that I can have sparse mode use my
auto-rp so I don't have to statically assign one. I'm sure I've made some
misunderstandings. If anyone can provide some information on this, I'd
appreciate it.
